The 5-Day Morning Smoothie Detox

Ready to turn over a new leaf in your nutrition?

Well, before you start off on that ultra-healthy diet, it might be a really good idea to do a detox first.

Use this 5-day shake plan to flush toxins and restore depleted nutrient stores.

Each day, skip breakfast and have one of these smoothies instead. That’s all you have to do to cleanse your system and feel great!

This plan cycles through some ingredients so you don’t have to blow your budget at the health food store. But it gives you the necessary superfoods every morning to help you brim with energy and flush toxins!

DAY 1: LEAN GREEN PROTEIN

½ cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tablespoon almond butter

1 banana, chopped

1 cup kale

1 cup fresh spinach

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

Fills you up so your body doesn’t cannibalize muscle tissue. Ginger helps initial toxin flush.

 

DAY 2: REST EASY GREEN SHAKE

2 stalks Celery, chopped

1 banana, chopped

1 tbsp Chia Seeds

1 whole organic Lemon

Full of cleansing greens and sleep-assisting amino acids, to put you to sleep so your body can detox.

DAY 3: FAIRY BERRY

½ cup blueberries, fresh or frozen

1 cup tart cherry juice

½ cup fresh spinach

1 tablespoon almond butter

1 vanilla bean pod, fresh

This one tastes amazing and gives your melatonin a big boost, with enough fiber to keep the cleanse going.

 

DAY 4: A CARROT A DAY…

2 medium carrots, chopped

1 medium apple, cored

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

Packed with vitamin c, fiber, and natural antioxidants – your body will crave and love this by day 4!

DAY 5: MANGO MADNESS

½ cup mango chunks, fresh or frozen

1 cup fresh spinach

1 cup kale, chopped

2 tbsp Chia seeds

1 tbsp almond butter

Mango is a superfood when it comes to digestion – it’s loaded with amino acids and enzymes that will flush that gut in no time at all!
