Why Nutrition Should Be A Top Priority

Did you know that 92% of Americans have a nutritional deficiency?

It’s not surprising, if you think about it.

Even if you avoid the junk and fast food that have snuck into every corner of our lives, it’s harder than ever to get enough vitamins and nutrients.

We now live in an America where 50% of groceries come from 4 supermarket chains.An America where 10 companies essentially control the food supply.

An America that’s eating more corn, soy, and sugar than any doctor would recommend – and we don’t even notice it in most of our food.

Experts say that America’s dietary diversity is the lowest it’s ever been.

The average American eats only 30 different foods in an entire month.

Compare that to Japan, where they consume that many different foods in a day – and they mix it up a lot from day to day!

If you’re worried that our dependence on corn, soy, and sugar products is hurting our health, you’re probably right.

It may be tough to get all the vitamins and nutrients we need, with sugar-packed supermarkets and event-packed schedules, but women in particular can gain so much from it.

Here’s Why It Matters So Much to Women…

They say it’s one of the biggest changes a woman goes through.

The metabolism shift that happens around age 40 changes the way we think about our bodies.

Once you’ve passed your 30s, you can’t eat, and drink whatever you want all the time.

The damage just stacks up too fast:

  • It’s so much easier to put on weight
  • Bones and joints start to seem a little more fragile
  • Our energy starts to fade earlier in the day
  • Skin loses a bit of its elasticity and luster
  • Hair isn’t supposed to thin out like this, is it???

You see, even before menopause hits, women’s estrogen levels start to drop around age 40.

Estrogen does a lot more than makes us, well, women. It promotes bone health, tooth health, and helps us resist cancer, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses.

But it’s part of our genetics to see a huge drop in estrogen levels starting at age 40.

Absolutely not! All this means is that nutrition needs to become one of your top priorities.
